WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Stepinac High School, the first high school in the U.S. that was given rights to stage Elton John's Tony award-winning "Billy Elliot," will present the premiere performance of the musical on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the school's Major Bowes Theater.
Stepinac's Drama Club counts among its famous alumni Academy Award winner Jon Voight and Emmy Award winner Alan Alda.
The other performances are on May 2, 8, and 9 at 7:30 p.m.; May 10, at 2 p,m.; and May 10 at 2 p.m..
