WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School students recently mobilized to donate more than 100 coats and other warm winter apparel to support The Children’s Collective’s 24th Annual Coat Drive.
Stepinac contributed the most number of coats of all the organizations and schools that participated in this year’s drive.
Sterling Lanken, a volunteer with the Children’s Collective and Stepinac's President, the Rev. Thomas Collins marked the occasion with students who were on hand to help fill the non-profit organization’s van.
Stepinac students rallied to the cause of helping growing numbers of homeless families in New York City keep warm during the winter.
