WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Residents can register to vote on the White Plains school budget April 28 from noon to 5 p.m. at Mamaroneck Avenue School.

The school district has also received a candidate petition from newcomer Rose Lovitch, said Michele Schoenfeld, district clerk.

The deadline for candidate petitions is April 25. The board of education elections and budget vote will be May 15 from noon to 9 p.m., in six voting districts
