WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Students at Mamaroneck Avenue School hosted, sang, danced, played instruments and told jokes at the MAS Fifth grade talent show on Monday, Feb. 29.
Individual students and groups signed up to audition and were paired with a staff mentor to help them prepare for their performance.
The whole process from start to finish was an opportunity for the students to develop their talent, build self-esteem, compromise in a group, set a goal and experience success. Not only did the students perform but they supported each other.
