White Plains 3-Year-Old Among 'World's Fair' Pre-K Graduates

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Toddlers from Harrison and White Plains were among the recent pre-kindergarten graduates from a child care facility affiliated with IBM.

The ceremony at Country Children's Center in Yorktown Heights is dubbed the "World's Fair" graduation because their parents came from all over the world to work in research and development at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Facility.

Among the graduates was Lucas Zhu, 4, of Harrison who showed off a display with his father, Yu Zhu.

Sophia Bukhover, 3, of White Plains also graduated from the pre-kindergarten class. Her family is from France.
