White Plains Holds Open House for Odell Avenue Home

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A $250,000 home at 10 Odell Ave. is on the market and the City of White Plains Urban Renewal Agency is making sure it goes to a first-time homeowner.

There will be an open house Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for this approximately 1,558 square foot single family home with:

  • three bedrooms
  • one-and-a-half baths
  • new kitchen
  • gas heat
  • 240 square foot front porch
  • second-floor porch
  • full basement
  • composition roof
  • hardwood/tile floors
  • new siding
  • fully insulated
  • rear driveway
  • landscaped garden

"This home has recently been completely renovated and made available for income-qualified homeowners," Thomas Roach, mayor of White Plains, said in a video detailing the home.

To be eligible, you must live or work in White Plains, be a first-time home buyer and make no more than $77,700 for a family of three, $86,300 for a family of four, or $93,200 for a family of five. 

City and school district employees have first priority under the city's Affordable Home Ownership Program rules and regulations.
