WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Newbauer Realty in Thornwood merged Tuesday with ERA Insite Realty Services of White Plains and Bronxville.
Louis Budetti, principal broker of ERA Insite Realty Services, made the announcement. The merger comes on the heels of a merger with Team IV Homes of Dutchess County, which was consolidated into the ERA Insite White Plains office.
In the Newbauer merger, founding broker Betty Newbauer will stay with the company as an associate broker. The Newbauer office at 635 Commerce St. in Thornwood will remain and operate as ERA Insite Realty Services, Newbauer Realty Division.
Newbauer Realty is a second-generation, family-owned company originally started in the Bronx by Betty Newbauer’s parents. It relocated to Thornwood in 1980 where it has operated successfully as an independent brokerage.
In addition to principal Betty Newbauer, agents joining ERA Insite as part of the merger include Bettyann Neubauer, Debra McCormick, Donna Wartham Petretti, Eileen Motko, Jane Ciociola, Joanne Spinelli, Lillibeth Panizales, Maria Galli, Patricia Ricciuti, and Theresa Alvarez.
“This is a great opportunity for us to strengthen our footprint in the Mt. Pleasant market where we are already serving clients and to add some key talent to our agent team,” Budetti said. “Betty Newbauer has been a well-known broker in Mt. Pleasant for 35 years. We welcome her market expertise, and bring our many ERA tools and resources to the office’s clients and agents."
ERA Insite Realty has been headquartered in White Plains for 30 years. It is the region’s number one ERA company and one of the top 100 ERA companies nationwide. The Newbauer merger now gives the company a third location to better serve the Mt. Pleasant and northern Westchester markets, while bringing exceptional new resources to both the agents and consumers.
