Mayor Tom Roach, along with Craig Rosenman, David Mann of the Lighthouse Enterprises and Daten Group Development and architect Philip Fruchter, cut the ribbon on the new rental space.

The building is one of three new luxury rental properties in White Plains. La Gianna, which began renting in late summer and began occupancy in October, is already 40 percent rented. The other two properties, The Dylan at 42 Waller Ave. and The Reed at 115 N. Broadway, will start leasing in December.

This event also served as the official launch of Vibe Living's commitment to supporting White Plains' arts and businesses. The buildings are built on the concept of community living, connecting the residents with local businesses, restaurants and the arts.

ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam and ArtsWestchester Director of Partnership Marketing Debbie Scates both attended the event. They discussed plans to build a partnership with art and the residents by installing paintings and sculptures in the lobby and other common areas.

The ribbon cutting and reception was hosted by Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty, which is managing the onsite leasing office. Matt Rand, managing partner, and Michelle Coletti, associate broker and onsite manager, attended the event along with other sales associates.

The spacious luxury units include 800-square-foot 1-bedrooms and 1,200-square-foot 2-bedrooms. They feature custom Italian kitchens, hardwood flooring and large bathrooms. Each unit also has a terrace.

Amenities at La Gianna include doormen, fitness center, billiards room, media room, children’s playroom, BBQ area, putting green and covered parking. A shuttle bus will take residents to the White Plains Metro North Train Station.

The City of White Plains purchased property next to La Gianna and plans to build a park with green space for residents and neighbors to enjoy. For more information visit the La Gianna website.
