Wayne Firefighters Contain Kitchen Blaze

WAYNE, N.J. -- Wayne firefighters confined a small house blaze to the kitchen area Tuesday afternoon, responders said.

A second alarm was called for the fire in a 2½-story wood-frame house on Colfax Avenue just before 1:30 p.m. because some Wayne firefighters were in Paterson, responders said.
