'Boulevard' Developers Seek Zoning Change For White Plains Site

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A New York City developer is seeking a zoning change which would allow it to build a mixed-use project in the south end of White Plains, according to a report in The Examiner News.

Grid Properties has proposed the Post Road redevelopment project -- called The Boulevard -- to the city’s Common Council, the report said.

Grid is seeking approval to build housing for hospital and city employees and a small retail complex in a blighted area that is now zoned for automotive dealerships, the Examiner reported.
