WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- If you've got a question for state lawmakers or want to meet their challengers in the Nov. 8 election, head to Church Street School in White Plains on Thursday evening.
The League of Woman Voters of White Plains is sponsoring a forum featuring contested races for state Senate and Assembly.
The question-and-answer session will be in the Church Street School auditorium at 295 Church St in White Plains.

George Latimer, D-Rye, and his challenger Julie Killian, R-Rye; as well as Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, a Democrat from Scarsdale, and her challenger, Anthony DeCintio of Tuckahoe.
In the second part, from approximately 8 to 9 p.m., two unopposed candidates are invited for a conversation with the audience and to answer questions: Assemblyman David Buchwald and Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
Questions for the first part can be submitted in writing by audience members. Those who cannot attend Thursday's forum are invited to email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. (Please include your name and address.)
