ALBANY, N.Y. -- New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will not run for governor in 2018, according to a report in nystateofpolitics.com.
Speaking at the Politico New York lunch Thursday, the Democrat ruled out a bid for governor when asked directly by a reporter, nystateofpolitics reported.
Republican Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino is considering another run after his unsuccessful bid in 2014, according to nystateofpolitics.
