Latimer, at a press conference in White Plains Wednesday, said the county contracts went to 28 donors who contributed $217,000. He said Astorino's plan to privatize Westchester County Airport would award more contracts to Astorino donors.

"Rob Astorino is clearly lying to us about his true plans for the Westchester County Airport," said Latimer. "Privatizing our airport will let Astorino dole even more county contracts to his political donors, while Westchester residents get left paying the bills.

Latimer is calling for the Federal Aviation Administration to investigate any potential pay to play tactics.

Bill O'Reilly, a spokesman for Astorino, said Latimer should focus more on his own issues, including a home owned by his wife that owes more than $46,000 in back taxes to the City of Rye.

"George Latimer has to get a grip on himself," O'Reilly said. "These imaginary conspiracy tales and fabricated 'investigations' are making him sound unhinged. He seems to be spinning out of control."
