Vice President Joe Biden ended weeks of speculation by announcing he won't enter the Democratic presidential race.
Biden was flanked by his wife Jill and President Obama in making the much-awaited announcement in the Rose Garden.
There had been increasing speculation in recent day that Biden would indeed challenge frontrunner Hillary Clinton of Chappaqua.
U.S. Congressman Brendan Boyle (D-PA) tweeted Monday, “I have a very good source close to Joe that tells me VP Biden will run for Prez.”
But Biden said he concluded he's "out of time" in terms of being able to start and wage an effective campaign.
