Clinton, who previously served as Secretary of State and represented New York as Senator, will give her acceptance speech Thursday night and become the first woman to be nominated for president by one of the major parties.

The Democratic convention kicks off Monday with speeches by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the runner up in the Democratic primary and First Lady Michelle Obama in prime time. Rep. Nita Lowey, who represents Rockland and most of Westchester, will speak briefly in the afternoon.

Tuesday will feature Clinton's husband, former President Bill Clinton, who also lives in Chappaqua.

Wednesday's lineup of speakers includes Erica Smegielski, whose mother Dawn, was the principal at Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed during the December 2012 mass shooting. Vice President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama and Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, Clinton's pick for vice president, will also be speaking.

On Thursday, Clinton will be introduced by her daughter, Chelsea.
