WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – An employee of the Getty Mart on 43 Lake St. said that a six-pack of beer was stolen from the store at 5 a.m., Sunday, according to a police report.
The Getty Mart attendant told police a man entered the store at 5 a.m. While he was helping another customer, the man went to the beer display case, took a six-pack of Yeungling, worth $12, and immediately left the store. The attendant told police he then ran away through the parking lot behind 41 Lake St.
Police searched the surrounding area, but did not find the suspect, according to the report. The store has video surveillance cameras, but they couldn’t be accessed at the time, according to the report.
