John Altman, of Main Street in White Plains, is being held on $150,000 bail in the Greenwich case. He served nine years in prison after being convicted in New York in connection with using a fake modeling agency as a scheme to provide diet drugs then sexually assault young women, the Greenwich Times says.

The arrest warrant for Altman, a registered sex offender in New York, says he approached the girl twice near her home in Cos Cob. The second time, he gave her prescription diet pills, something authorities said was a pattern, the Greenwich Times reports.
