White Plains Police Accuse Sisters Of Shoplifting

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Two sisters from Yonkers were charged with petty larceny, accused of stealing $225.48 worth of items at Wal-Mart in White Plains, according to a police report.

Store security told police that Jacqueline Foy, 39, and Tara Ann Perez, 31, took various items from a display and hid them in a compartment of a baby stroller they had with them.

When they tried to leave without paying, store security stopped them and held them for police, who charged both with misdemeanor petty larceny. Both sisters were released on $100 bail each.
