White Plains Man Injured In Brawl Outside Bar

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – An early-morning fight outside a downtown bar left a White Plains man bloody and three Connecticut men in handcuffs, according to a police report.

Edual Duran, 22, Jose Duran-Camacho, 20, and Jose Rodriguez were all charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor.

Police patrolling downtown White Plains after 4 a.m., Saturday, heard a scream and saw a group of people who appeared to be fighting in front of Maracas on 60 W. Post Road. Everyone scattered, some running back into the bar, as police approached. There was someone lying in the street, bleeding heavily from his face and head. The victim, 36, was drunk and disoriented from the assault and unable to describe his assailants or what happened.

After police called an ambulance, a witness told police the suspects ran back into the bar. Meanwhile, the three suspects walked out of the bar with several women and got into a car. The witness then identified them to police as the men who assaulted him

All three were arrested and held pending arraignment. The victim was taken to White Plains Hospital. He later gave a statement at police headquarters.
