WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A Bank Street resident reported a group of men were possibly smoking marijuana outside their building early Saturday morning, which resulted in the arrest of one White Plains man, who was charged with marijuana possession, police said.

When police responded to the report, the group of males ran in several directions, the police report said. Police nabbed one of them, an 18-year-old Mitchell Place resident, who had a silver-colored metal container with a small amount of what police believed to be marijuana.

After arresting the teen, police then found a plastic bag also holding what was believed  marijuana tucked under his pants. He was later released with a return date of Sept. 19, the report says.
