Chamberlain's family has reportedly brought a $21 million lawsuit against the city for the 2011 death of the 68-year-old man. Police shot and killed Chamberlain after a one-hour standoff when his medical alarm went off.

Chamberlain allegedly tried to attack officers with a knife when they tried to check his welfare, according to the article.
