WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. The Sears department store in the Galleria mall reported three shoplifting suspects in the past week, police said.
Sears security told police that a Yonkers girl, 16, took a woman's Joe Boxer bathing suit, worth $25.98, from a display in the juniors department and tried to hide it in her Hello Kitty bag, according to the police report.
Store security said it stopped her when she tried to leave without paying. Police charged her with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor. She was released to her mother and appeared in court Tuesday, June 5.
Ana Dominguez, 57, was arrested Monday, May 28, on the same charge. She is accused of stealing two pairs of Primavera earrings and an Enchanted Brilliance ring, totaling $329.97, according to a police report.
The same day, Frank King, 46, of White Plains was also charged with petty larceny. He is accused of stealing two Gruen II watches worth $59.98. King was held for a court appearance on Tuesday, May 29.
