Police Look To Public For Help In White Plains TD Bank Robbery

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains police are looking to the public for help in identifying a man who robbed a TD Bank branch Friday night.

According to Lohud, police said the man entered the TD Bank branch on Central Ave. shortly before 8 p.m. and gave a teller a hand-written note demanding cash. No weapon was displayed.

The robber left with a bank bag containing an undisclosed amount of money, with no getaway car seen. 

No customers were in the branch building at the time, and none of the employees were injured. Lohud reports that police are reviewing security video of the robbery.

The robber was described as a black man of medium height and build in his 20s or 30s wearing a white baseball cap, white shirt and dark jacket.
