Police ID Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train In White Plains

The MTA Police Department has released the name of the 57-year-old man from Mamaroneck who was fatally struck by a Metro-North train in White Plains.

Shortly after 8 p.m., the 7:29 p.m. northbound train from Grand Central Terminal due to arrive in North White Plains at 8:12 p.m. fatally struck Timothy Devanney, who was unauthorized to be on the tracks at the White Plains Station, an MTA spokesperson told Daily Voice on Thursday morning.
