Police said they found five envelopes of heroin in the cell phone case of Robert Williams, 49, when they searched his phone at police headquarters.
Williams was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle when it was found that he had a revoked driver’s license for a total of nine suspensions, with one suspension for a DWI from Dec. 5, 2013, according to police.
Passengers Christine Velez, 18, and Ruben Warren, 51, were also placed under arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance when 24 cyclobenzaprine pills and six Suboxone sublingual films were found in a prescription bottle with the name of the owner scratched off, police said. All passengers denied ownership, according to police.
Williams, Velez and Warren were booked and released.
