Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Wednesday that 46-year-old Ossining resident Erika Flores has pleaded guilty in court to a felony count of grand larceny following an investigation by the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

According to Scarpino, Flores was an accountant at Prospero for 10 years and was responsible for accounts payable for the credit cards used by the company. The police investigation determined that she used those cards for years without permission and falsified records to conceal those charges.

In total, it was determined that Flores stole $251,437.58 by using two company credit cards for expenses that included food, travel and clothing.

Flores was arrested by Mount Pleasant Police on June 30 last year. She will be sentenced on Sept. 27, where she faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in state prison.
