Man Stopped For Public Urination Charged With Cocaine Possession

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A Port Chester man was arrested on cocaine charges after he was spotted urinating in a public parking garage in White Plains, according to a police report.

After charging Franky Lopez, 26, with public urination, a violation, police searched his pockets and found a clear zip lock bag containing a white, powder-like substance that turned out to be 600 milligrams of cocaine, police said. Lopez was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and held for court. 

He was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking garage at 9 Chester Ave., according to the report.
