Man In Critical Condition After Being Pinned Under Van In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – An elderly man is in critical condition after he was pinned under a van after being struck near a New Rochelle construction site on Tuesday afternoon.

The victim was walking with the aid of a walker near the site of the new Deals store when a white van attempting to back up onto North Avenue struck him, pinning both he and the walker under the vehicle.

He was transferred to Montefiore Hospital in critical condition.
