Officers responded to the home after the man called to say that “his father was making fun of him for being a Clinton supporter” and had become abusive, according to North Castle police.

During an investigation, officers found no signs of a domestic dispute over Clinton, according to police.

The Jan. 20 call was one of several incidents that required attention from North Castle Police over the course of the last week, according to the department, which said that officers investigated at least two cases of suspicious incidents and a hit-and-run car crash.

Authorities responded to the Southern Westchester BOCES campus on Old Orchard Street about 3 p.m. on Jan. 24 after the principal there reported two students had walked into a nearby wooded area, according to police.

Officers searched the area, but found no sign of the students, police said.

Two days later, officers were called to an apparently unrelated suspicious incident on Fisher Lane, according to police.

In that case, someone had reported a “suspicious” black man in his teens or early 20s disappearing into nearby woods and then returning to stare at cars in a parking lot.

After investigating the scene, officers reported the situation as “under control.”

In other news, authorities responded to a reported hit-and-run near the intersection of routes 22 and 120, according to police.

The Jan. 23 crash was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m., according to police, who said that a woman reported that one car involved in a crash left the scene traveling south.

The car may have sustained front-end damage, according to police. No further description of the vehicle was available.

Officers found no injuries at the scene of the crash, police said, adding that local firefighters and an ambulance were sent to the site as a precaution.
