WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Daniel Perry ran up a $286 bar tab at Elements early Friday morning and tried to pay with a forged credit card, according to a police report.
Perry, of Danbury, Conn., was charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and theft of service, a misdemeanor.
Security at Elements, 161 Mamaroneck Ave., flagged down police patrolling the area and the restaurant manager told police they detained him after he tried to leave without paying his bar tab. He then tried to use a forged CitiBank credit card. That card had his name on it but the account number didn't exist, the report said.
In the process being detained, Perry suffered injuries to his face, the report said.
Perry was held without bail pending arraignment.
