WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. A Bronx man was arrested Thursday after trying to use a forged credit card at Neiman Marcus, a day after he used the same card to buy $930.94 worth of merchandise at Bloomingdale's in The Westchester mall, White Plains police said.
Anthony Smith, also known as "Javonte," was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony; and petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
The 20-year-old Bronx man picked out five items Wednesday at Bloomingdale's and successfully used a forged credit card to pay the $930.94 bill, police said.
The next day, he returned to The Westchester mall, this time stopping at Neiman Marcus, according to the police report. He was arrested when he tried to use the card a second time.
Smith was held without bail and appeared in White Plains City Court Friday morning.
