WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A White Plains man was accused of stealing two DVD players from Target in the White Plains City Center, police said.

Store security told police that Nicholas Greco, 28, took two Sony DVD players, worth $89.99 each, from a display Sunday night. He opened the packaging in the store, removed the items and hid them in a Target shopping bag, according to the police report.

He tried to leave the store, but was stopped by Target security and taken to a holding room until police arrived.
