Homeless Woman Charged With Attacking Ex In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A homeless woman attacked her ex-boyfriend inside a coffee shop, police said, claiming the man gave her AIDS.

Nicole Alcaide, 33, was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.

Alcaide’s ex-boyfriend told officers he was sitting inside Splendid Diner on 106 Mamaroneck Ave. Wednesday afternoon when Alcaide spotted him from outside, police said. She approached him inside the cafe and began to repeatedly slap and scratch him in the face and neck area, while saying that the victim gave her AIDS, the police report said.

Alcaide then left Splendid Diner and the victim called police. He suffered scrapes and redness to the left side of his neck and a bruised and cut upper lip, police said.

Police later discovered Alcaide had an active temporary order of protection against her ex-boyfriend.
