Court Appearance Scheduled For Galleria Stabbing Suspect

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A Yonkers man faces a felony first-degree assault charge in the July 3 stabbing of a White Plains man in the municipal garage at the Galleria mall, according to lohud.com.

Carless Johnson, 22, of Radford Street, is being held at the Westchester County Jail and is due in White Plains City Court on (Wednesday) July 22, according to lohud. 

Police said Johnson and the victim, a 28-year-old White Plains man, exchanged words in the Galleria and began arguing before going outside, the report said. Police told LoHud they don't know what caused the dispute.

The victim has since been released from Westchester Medical Center.
