Chappaqua Man Charged With Shampoo, Olive Oil Theft

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A Chappaqua man stole shampoo, olive oil and Advil from ShopRite in White Plains, police said.

Store security told police that Travis Walker, 28, took miscellaneous items, worth a total of $29.55, from a display and hid them as he tried to leave the store in the White Plains City Center about 9 p.m. Monday, according to police.

Walker was stopped and held for police, who then arrested and charged him with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, police said. He was held on $250 bail pending arraignment.
