Cash Reward For Info On Suspect In White Plains Sexual Assault Case

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information on the man believed to have inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl in the White Plains Walmart on April 20, police said.

Anyone who provides information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the reported sexual assault will be rewarded with up to $2,500.

On April 20, an unknown man lured a 7-year-old girl into a recycling room of Walmart and touched her inappropriately, police said. She wasn't injured, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution and released the same night.

The unknown suspect is described as black male in his mid-20s, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap with the letters "LV" on the front, dark colored jeans and green sneakers. 

Anyone with info is asked to call the crime stoppers hot line at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477). All callers may remain anonymous, any information regarding this incident could help solve the crime.
