WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Police pulled over a man for having a broken headlight, and discovered his license was suspended and he was in possession of marijuana, according to a police report.
Marquis Williams, 22, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
While driving on West Post Road about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, police noticed a Toyota Camry with a broken left headlight and pulled the car over, according to the report. When police asked for Williams’ license and registration, they found out his license had been suspended for not answering a summons in October.
Police arrested him and, upon a search at police headquarters, found a small pink glassine bag with what they believed to be marijuana in his jacket pocket.
Williams was released on $250 bail and his car was impounded.
