GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- State troopers issued 44 tickets during a recent crackdown on Sprain Brook Parkway speeding, authorities said.
Forty of the tickets issued during Thursday's operation were for speeding. The remaining four were for other vehicle and traffic violations, police said.
The effort - which, in this instance, focused solely on Greenburgh - is part of a continued effort by police to "make the motoring public safe in the state of New York," authorities said.
