WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Vincent R. Castaldo, a lifelong White Plains resident, died Oct. 21. He was 78.
He was born Sept. 29, 1934, to Mary Faillace and Roland Castaldo. He served in the Army, Air Force and National Guard for more than 30 years.
Castaldo is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sara; two sons, Matthew, of Raleigh, N.C., and Eric (Lauren) Castaldo, of Poughkeepsie; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains, with the Rev. Gus Badgely officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
