WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Theresa Casarella (nee Belmont), a White Plains resident, died Oct. 14. She was 93.
Casarella was born Aug. 7, 1921, in North Castle, to Angelo and Rose Severino Belmont. She worked for over 20 years in the quality control department for Sonotone/Gould Co. in Elmsford.
Casarella is survived by her brother, Emanuel F. Belmont; sisters-in-law, Angelina and Gabriella Belmont; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Dominick P. Belmont.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at Mt. Carmel Church, 92 South Lexington Ave., White Plains, with Fr. Ralph Berg officiating. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
