Robert I. Rednick, 81, Lawyer, White Plains Resident

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Robert I. Rednick, 81, of White Plains, died Sunday, Sept. 13. 

Born in Port Chester, he was the son of David and Sally Rednick. 

He was an attorney in Port Chester for over 50 years -- the last 10 with his son, Jeffrey, in the firm Rednick & Rednick LLP. 

He was the past president of the Port Chester/Rye Bar Association, as well as a former prosecutor for the village of Port Chester. 

He was a member of the Port Chester Lions Club, as well as a member of the Masonic Guild of Port Chester and the Shriners. 

He was a graduate of Port Chester High School, Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and the NYU School of Law. 

He was a lifetime member of Congregation KTI, where he served as counsel for many years. 

He was an avid golfer at Ridgeway Country Club. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sheila Rednick; his children, Wendi and Jeffrey Rednick and his wife, Lois, and their three children, David, Samantha, and Kayla. He is also survived by his sister, Phyllis Lux. 

Funeral services will be held at Congregation KTI on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. 

His wife and children will be sitting shivah at the Rednick residence in White Plains.
