NORTH WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Ralph J. Ristaino of North White Plains died Aug. 5. He was 91.
Ristaino was born March 19, 1922, to Joseph and Mary (nee Stipo) Ristaino in Jersey City, N.J. He served in the US Air Force during World War II where he received the Purple Heart Award. He was a retired owner-operator of R&R Sports Center in North White Plains.
Ristaino is survived by his wife, Helen (nee Angiolillo) Ristaino of North White Plains; children, Joseph and Ralph Ristaino both of North White Plains and Janet Conklin of Livonia; sister, Katherine Towndrow of North White Plains; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Carmine Ristaino.
There will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla. Interment will be at Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh.
