Paul Lubliner, 86, Longtime White Plains Resident, WWII Veteran

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Paul Lubliner, a 55 year resident of White Plains, died Dec. 24. He was 86.

Lubliner was born in 1927. He grew up in the Bronx and graduated from Evander Childs High School at 15. He served in the Navy during World War II. After discharge, he attended NYU and CCNY, earning Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering. He had a 40 year career as a Bell Telephone System employee serving as a supervisory engineer.

Lubliner is survived by his wife, Lyn-Norma (Gold); sons, Andrew, Scott (Beth), Douglas (Jordana), Jamie (Debbie); eight grandchildren; brother-in law, Sanford Gold; sister-in-law, Cindy Gold; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Dec. 26 at Temple Israel Center in White Plains.
