WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -  N. Lee Spaulding of White Plains died Sunday, July 27. She was 52.

Spaulding was born in Princeton, N.J., and lived in Port Chester, and White Plains, as well as Bethesda, Md., Harvard, Mass., and Webster, Rochester, Kenmore, all in New York.

She graduated from Webster Schroeder H.S. in 1979, Ohio University in 1983 and received her law degree from SUNY Buffalo in 1992. She went to work first as a legal secretary and then a paralegal at the former law firm of Greisberger Zicari in Rochester. She was a principal law clerk for the N.Y.S. Department of Justice, a defense attorney for the Legal Aid Society and a defense attorney for the Public Defender's Office of Rochester.

Spaulding is survived by her husband, Thomas Crowley; siblings, Robert and Susan Spaulding both of Albuquerque, N.M.; and her father, Dr. Spencer Spaulding of Denver, Colo.

A burial service will be held at 11 a.m, Thursday,  Aug. 7 at the Oakwood Cemetery at 304 Lexington Ave. in Mount Kisco.
