WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Muriel Elizabeth Brogan Kennedy of White Plains died Nov. 17. She was 90.
Born Jan. 15, 1922 in White Plains, Kennedy was the daughter of Joseph and Emma Brogan. She graduated from White Plains schools and worked for General Motors in New York City in the 1940s. She later retired from the White Plains School District.
Kennedy was a member of the Columbettes in White Plains and Our Lady of Sorrows Women’s Guild and Senior Group.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Kennedy Jr., and her twin sister, Dorothy Mullane. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia (John) Nyikos of Old Lyme, Conn. and Naples, Fla., Diane (David) Coldrick of White Plains, and Marianne (Eugene) Malone of White Plains, two brothers, Joseph Brogan of Port Chester and Robert Brogan of Palm Coast, Fla., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A Mass of the Christian burial was celebrated Monday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains.
