WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Michael Mascolo Sr. of White Plains died Dec. 9 at his home. He was 76.
He was born Sept. 13, 1936, in White Plains to Antonio and Theresa Raccanelli Mascolo. He served in the Army from 1952 to 1954. He was married to Marie DeVito Mascolo, who survives him.
Mascolo is survived by three children, Michael (Phyllis) Mascolo, of Pace, Fla., Toni (George) Holmes, of Patterson, N.Y., and Denise (Joseph) Massa, of Poughquag, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by two brothers, Angelo and Peter Mascolo.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
