Michael F. Henry, 80, Lifelong White Plains Resident, Firefighter

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Michael F. Henry, a lifelong resident of White Plains, died Oct. 2. He was 80.

Henry was born Jan. 12, 1934, in White Plains, to James and Helen Henry. He served as a Marine from 1952 to 1955. He was a White Plains firefighter for 39 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 135 located in White Plains.

Henry is survived by his children, Mary Anne (Douglas) Henry-Goodman of Valhalla, Eileen (Kenneth) Henry-Halbrecht of Alamo Ca. and Michael Henry Jr. of White Plains; three grandchildren; and brother, John (Susan) Henry of Yonkers. He was predeceased by his parents; and wife, Eileen F. Henry (nee Burke).

Service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at the McMahon Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home.
