Mary Spinelli, 89, Of White Plains, Retired PepsiCo Employee

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Maria “Mary” Elena Spinelli, 89, of White Plains, died Sunday, March 1.

She was born in White Plains on Sept. 8, 1925, to Antonio and Elena Spinelli.

Spinelli graduated in 1943 from White Plains High School, and worked for PepsiCo until her retirement.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains.

Survivors include one sister, Virginia (Ginny) Spinelli-Falzarano of Las Vegas, Nev.; four brothers, Ernest Spinelli of Naples, Fla., and Gino, Aldo, and Victor Spinelli, all of White Plains; and many nieces and nephews.

Four sisters, Santina Lidke, Gloria Benedetto, Ida Turner, and Stella Spinelli; two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Spinelli; one niece, Deborah Spinelli; and one nephew, Edward D. Lidke, are deceased.

Calling hours will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 92 S. Lexington Ave., White Plains.

Interment will follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains.
