WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Marie A. Tancredi of White Plains died Thursday, Aug. 23, at home in her sleep. She was 84.
Tancredi was born April 30, 1928, in White Plains to Joseph and Angelina Casarella. She married Fred C. Tancredi on Sept. 20, 1953, in West Harrison. She loved spending time with her family as well as telling and hearing funny stories. Her favorite pastime was doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; three children, Angela Rubin of Oceanside, N.Y., Carol (Greg) Gorski of Ridgefield, Conn., and Peter Tancredi of White Plains; a brother, Sal Casarella; a brother-in-law, Michael Nicoletti; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A service was held Monday at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains.
