WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Marie R. Northcutt, a White Plains resident, died Sept. 23. She was 63.
Northcutt was born Feb. 2, 1950, in White Plains, to Carl and Marcelline Benoit DeMarco. She graduated from Valhalla High School, Lynchburg College in Va., and received two Masters from Columbia University. She was a special education teacher for Harrison High School for 35 years, retiring in 2012.
Northcutt is survived by her husband, Ken; sons, Jimmy and Tommy all of White Plains; father, Carl DeMarco of Armonk; sisters, Camille DeMarco-Havens of New Canaan, Conn., and Peggy Moore of Cold Spring; brothers, John DeMarco of Holmes and Michael DeMarco of Valhalla; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Marcelline DeMarco.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc. , 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 with Fr. Philip Quealy officiating, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 920, Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Interment at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains.
